I studied law because I wanted to understand how systems work and why they sometimes fail. After starting out as a lawyer in international corporate and tax law, the wish to be closer to business decisions took me to strategy consulting at BCG, and from there, as early as 2005, into the front row of digital transformation at Axel Springer.
I have been an entrepreneur since 2009: with the transformation consultancy _MEDIATE for actively shaped change in mid-sized companies and corporates, and since 2019 also with the start-up Culcha, because strategy alone does not change an organisation — the new behaviour of the people inside it does.
Today, in all of my roles — founder, consultant, fractional manager, supervisory board member, professor and author — I work to help companies secure their future with artificial intelligence without losing their workforce along the way.
